Baraboo Shares Signal and Success

Winner: 2011 ACEC WI Engineering Excellence Award 


Along with MSA Professional Services, Muermann Engineering, a division of MSA, brought Baraboo's Water Utility and Police Department together in a break-through shared communications system - the first in Wisconsin and one of the first in the nation.

Mount Pleasant Village Hall and Police Station

The new, $13.5 million Mount Pleasant Village Hall & Police Station is a single story, 72,000 square foot facility that houses multiple Village operations onto one site.  Muermann Engineering, a division of MSA, was responsible for the design of several green/sustainable features including plumbing fixtures, LED lighting, and lighting controls.

Jack Russell Memorial Library: "An investment in the entire community"

Winner: Milwaukee Business Journal 2012 Real Estate Award


For the first time in its history, Hartford library has its own building with double the space and better accessibility.  The 36,000 square foot building showcases Muermann Engineering’s lighting design with accent lighting and a low voltage lighting control system meant to enhance the natural day-lighting to save energy and money.  Muermann Engineering, a division of MSA, also contributed plumbing and fire protection design to this award winning project.

Lake Mills Middle School, Best of "Green"

Muermann Engineering, a division of MSA, collaborated on electrical, plumbing, and fire protection system designs for the 60,000 square foot addition and 37,000 square foot renovation of the Lake Mills Middle School. The project design directly contributed to an overall savings of 45% energy and $85,000 per year.  In addition, the project received 2 recognitions for “Green” building and is LEED Platinum certified. This project earned Engineering News-Record's Best of the Best K-12 Education Project for 2015
